Free Fire Nine Tails Guide - How to Control the Nine Tails

The Nine Tails is one of the biggest features in the Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Chapter One: Nine Tails Strikes event. But can you actually control the Nine Tails in Free Fire? Yes, although you do not control its movement directly. Instead, the new Sharingan: Control Ninjutsu lets you choose an area on the Battle Royale map for the Nine Tails to attack with a Tailed Beast Bomb.
The ability can deal explosive damage over a large area and leave flames behind, making it useful for damaging enemies and forcing them away from important positions. Here is how the Nine Tails control ability works, when you can use it, and how to get the most out of it.
Can You Control the Nine Tails in Free Fire?
Yes, you can control the Nine Tails in Free Fire through Sharingan: Control. However, the ability does not let you freely move the Nine Tails around the map.

Instead, you select a target location, and the Nine Tails attacks that area with a Tailed Beast Bomb. The attack also creates several flame spots that remain on the battlefield for a short time. This makes Sharingan: Control an area-of-effect ability that can be used to pressure enemies and disrupt their positioning.
How to Control the Nine Tails in Free Fire
Using the Nine Tails attack is straightforward once Sharingan: Control becomes available.
1. Play Until the Ability Becomes Available
Sharingan: Control becomes available around the middle of a Battle Royale match. Continue playing until you can use the Ninjutsu.
2. Activate Sharingan: Control
When the ability is available, activate Sharingan: Control to begin targeting an area on the battlefield.
3. Select an Area
Choose the location where you want the Nine Tails to attack. Try to predict where enemies will be rather than simply targeting their current position.
4. Wait for the 5-Second Warning
Once the target is selected, players in the affected area receive a 5-second danger warning. This warning gives enemies a chance to escape, so timing and positioning are important when using the ability.
5. The Nine Tails Uses the Tailed Beast Bomb
After the warning, the Nine Tails launches a Tailed Beast Bomb at the selected location. The attack deals 60 explosive damage within a 100-meter radius, allowing it to affect multiple players caught within the area.
What Does the Nine Tails Attack Do?
The Nine Tails attack has two main effects. First, the Tailed Beast Bomb deals explosive damage to players within its 100-meter radius.
After the attack, 8 to 10 flame spots appear around the area. Each flame spot has a 4-meter radius and remains for approximately 5 to 10 seconds. Players affected by the flames take additional damage. Even after leaving the flame area, they continue to take 1 damage per second for 2 seconds.

Because of these effects, Sharingan: Control can be useful even when the initial Tailed Beast Bomb does not eliminate an enemy. The flames can prevent opponents from immediately returning to the area.
When Should You Use Sharingan: Control?
The best time to use the Nine Tails ability is when enemies are likely to have difficulty escaping the targeted area. You can use it when opponents are fighting another squad, holding a building, moving through a predictable route, or grouped together. It can also be useful for disrupting an enemy position rather than trying to get an immediate elimination.
Remember that the five-second warning gives enemies time to react. Try to predict their movement and target the area they are likely to move toward.
Can You Move the Nine Tails Around the Map?
No. Sharingan: Control does not give you direct control over the Nine Tails’ movement. You control the location of its attack by selecting a target area. The Nine Tails then launches its Tailed Beast Bomb at that location.

So, if you are looking for a feature that lets you command the Nine Tails like a playable character, that is not how the ability works.

Tips for Using the Nine Tails in Free Fire
Do not use Sharingan: Control as soon as it becomes available without considering the situation. The ability is more valuable when you can predict enemy movement.
If enemies are fighting, try targeting their position when they are distracted. If they are holding a building or another tight area, the attack can force them to reposition. You can also use the ability for zone pressure. Even if enemies escape the Tailed Beast Bomb, the flames left behind can prevent them from immediately returning to the same location.
Most importantly, remember the five-second warning. Since opponents can react, predicting where they will move can be more effective than targeting where they are standing when you activate the ability.

The Nine Tails adds a completely different type of battlefield pressure to Free Fire’s Naruto Shippuden collaboration. While Sharingan: Control does not let you directly control the Nine Tails, it gives you the ability to select an attack location and unleash a Tailed Beast Bomb over a large area.
Use it at the right moment, predict enemy movement, and take advantage of the flames left behind to make the most of the Nine Tails attack. Play Free Fire on PC with BlueStacks for a larger screen and more precise controls when tracking enemies and using abilities.
